As usual, new gadgets are always invite curiosity and sometimes leaked specifications appeared before it was released. A website in Norway also claims to get the full specifications of the HTC Flyer formerly known as Scribe.
Flyer is touted as the first HTC tablet will ship with Android version 2.3 or Gingerbread or may directly hold Android Honeycomb. While the user interface is typical of Taiwanese vendors, HTC Sense will also pinned on the Flyer.
There has been no official confirmation when HTC Flyer sold, but is projected around April for the European continent. Here leaked specifications, quoted by Geek:
- 7-inch capacitive touchscreen (1024 x 600)
- There is a stylus
- Processor Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon
- 4GB on-board flash storage
- 1GB RAM
- Android Gingerbread / Honeycomb with HTC Sense
- HSPA (download speed up to 14.4Mbps, uploads to 5.76Mbps)
- HDMI out, MicroSD card slot
- 5-megapixel camera and 1.3-megapixel
- Skype pre-installed
