New Galaxy S with Dual Core and Gingerbread

Gadget Review - Not satisfied with the success of Galaxy S now, Samsung plans to make the latest changes to one of the best-selling smartphones. What are they?

According to the news circulated, the latest series of S Galaxy will use dual-core processor, to maximize the 'intelligence' of this phone. If this is true then surely the latest S Galaxy became the first Samsung's dual-core processors smartphone. Previous 1 GHz processor Hummingbird is a mainstay series Galaxy S.


Quoted Phone Arena, on Thursday (12/30/2010), Galaxy S will be present by using Android 2.3 Gingerbread. In addition, this handset will also have additional features gyroscope and NFC, an electronic payment system by exploiting a wave of short range as used in the Nexus S.

It seems that the presence of Nexus S have a major impact for the presence of latest Galaxy S.

Regarding attendance, the smart phone with dual-core processors will be displayed at the Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona in February 2011.

Samsung claims to approximately 5 million units of S Galaxy has sold since its launch last June. This figure is increasingly making Samsung optimistic pursuit of Apple.

Galaxy S itself is an answer to Apple's on the challenge. Amazingly Samsung does not provide an exclusive contract to telecom operators so that the spread of the Galaxy S somewhat uneven. Until now Android-based smartphone is being sold by approximately 100 telecommunications operators in the world, including the four major operators in the U.S..
