"Playbook will be introduced for the first time in Asia during the event," said Oliver Philgerstorfer, RIM's South East Asian Senior Public Relations Manager when accompanying RIM's Southeast Asia Managing Director Gregory Wade in talks with the media on Thursday (12/16/2010) .He said the event BlackBerry Devcon Asia is a good opportunity for the developers to explore the BlackBerry tablet platform besides the BlackBerry OS 6 that being the power of RIM's latest smartphone today. They can learn more about the latest application development for Playbook and learn more about using the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK for the Adobe AIR as well as Adobe Flash Builder.
RIM officials also will attend the event. Main Speakers already confirmed his arrival in the event include Gregory Wade - Southeast Asia Managing Director, Tyler Lessard - Vice President of Global Alliances and Developer Relations, Mike Kirkup – Director of Developer Relations, and Chris Smith - Senior Director of BlackBerry Developer Platform.
BlackBerry Playbook is the first tablet device made by RIM that is designed to provide web access experience perfectly. The tool will be released next year.
