An analysis suggests that the latest mobile operating system from Microsoft has struggled to reach the market.
Research by Chitika advertising network revealed that in the past 1.5 months since it was first launched OS, Windows Phone 7 has not been able to beat the prestige of the Android and iPhone.
Based on the traffic by Chitika ad network, comparisons between Android and the iPhone combined with Windows Phone 7 is 100:1.
Within three weeks later, via Cellular News reported on Monday (12/20/2010), each one impression of Windows Phone 7 Chitika publisher listed, same with approximately 110 impressions of Android and 172 impressions to the iPhone. Even that number is relatively stable and not too showed a significant increase of market share of Windows Phone 7.
Although Windows Phone 7 get a positive rating and reviews among analysts but the company considers Chitika ads if WP7 had to fight pretty hard to convince smartphone users if the operating system they offer is better than OS made by Google and Apple.
"If to beat Android and the IOS is still difficult, perhaps WP7 can easily match the position with the Blackberry, which its market share has also continued to fall. Blackberry is known as a device that is always used by businesses,"said the Chitika.
