Adobe and Intel collaborate on bringing Flash to Apple by launching an initiative to promote water applications and games on the online store's most recent Intel named AppUp.

According to Intel spokesman Christos Georgiopoulos, AppUp fully supports the beta version of Adobe's applications platform, currently known as "Melrose."

"Many developers crave a middle way between transparency web-centric computing and tight integration of those found on devices that are restricted or closed without permission to develop. For these developers, such as precious time is lost to testing on hundreds of devices," he explained, as reported by TG Daily, on Thursday (16/09/2010).

"So that's why we built AppUp. Strategic relationship between Intel and Adobe aims to please developers with a platform to align one of the world's largest non-fragmented developer with one of the largest hardware platform of the world did that consistently to bring great consumer experience through a 'software client centric ', "he said.

Georgiopoulos added that Adobe AIR allows devs to use HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Flash and ActionScript Platform tools for building web applications that can run as a standalone client applications without the constraints of the browser.

"Clearly, the Adobe AIR platform is a key component of the Adobe Flash Platform - which reaches more than 98 percent of Internet desktop," he said.
