Samsung Electronics launches ST80, 14.2 mega-pixel camera point-and-shoot that has a wi-fi capability that is currently being developed.
With wireless technologies like Wi-Fi and connectivity Samsung AllShare (DNLA), ST80 facilitate the sharing of pictures at any time and can continue to update friends and family from anywhere and anytime.
"We want people to share their favorite photos quickly when they're activities, and ST80 is able to easily do it," said SJ Park, President of Samsung Electronics Digital Imaging Business, through its official description.
Consumers will be attracted by the sleek design and rounded ST80, with a 3x optical zoom, 3.0 inch wide touch screen on the back of the camera. For those seeking color, ST80 will be available in a choice of four stylish colors including charcoal black, white, fuchsia pink and blue mint.
Consumers will also enjoy intelligent features that can be found in the ST80 camera. ST80 is equipped with new features 'Samsung Smart Crop', a unique editing tools included with the camera directly.
ST80 is also easy to capture great pictures with scene recognition technology, Samsung's Smart Auto (Still & Movie). Smart Auto (Still & Movie) automatically recognizes the shooting environment and selecting the appropriate settings to achieve best results.
In addition to 14.2 mega-pixel resolution is impressive for a digital still image, ST80 offers HD video recorder. At 30 frames-per-second, ST80 allows consumers to record high quality, 720p HD video using the H.264 format, which provides a recording capacity of up to three times greater than MJPEG video formats
